About us

Most of the performances presented at Oslo Spektrum Arena are cultural and entertainment events. The arena is primarily associated with large-scale concerts and shows featuring international performers. However, general admission concert setups, where all or parts of the seating area is closed off to ensure an intimate club-atmosphere, have played an important role in making Oslo Spektrum accessible to a broader group of performers, not least Norwegian artists.

Family entertainment events, such as Disney on Ice, Putti Plutti Pott and Norwegian Military Tattoo, are also popular with the general public. In addition, Norwegian television events such as MGP, MGPjr and Spellemann (The Norwegian Grammy Awards) attract major attention and are very well attended.

Conferences and corporate events have become increasingly important to Oslo Spektrum. Such events may be supplemented by smaller conference areas at the hotels, thus providing a full range of facilities for organisers of events of this nature. The location of the building, a short walk from public transport nodes, parking facilities and overnight accommodation, makes Oslo Spektrum an attractive city centre alternative for conferences and trade fairs.

When configured for trade fairs, the arena offers a total floor space of approximately 5,000 sq. metres., which is a medium-sized arena. That said, this is the only trade fair facility in the centre of Oslo.
